When you start up DosBox you have to mount directories as virtual
drives. You can just mount c:\ as c: drive if you want. You have to
mount CD and floppy drives too. Then it's just like a DOS PC with the
virtual drives you have mounted and the hardware emulation you have
configured in dosbox.conf.
So yes, once you mount a c: drive and the CD/floppy drive you can
install games just using DosBox.
