Merry Christmas to you too! May your stocking be stuffed with some goodies
like hardware and games to play on it all!

Quake. Love it, and I won't do without it. If I have to I'll build a rig
just for it. Over all the years I've been buying and playing games, I've
never re-sold one. I've given a lot of them away, but never sold em off.
I'm sure I'm like lots of other folks here, I've bought many a good game for
a present to someone. Others have given me a few good ones too. Yeah,
bought at the store ones :) Everyone that knows me knows how I am about
piracy. I just don't do it. I buy my stuff, and I'm happy to have it
available TO buy!
Some games have become something for me to follow, keep up with. Like a
good Sci-Fi/Fantasy author. I buy everything that comes out for them.
Quake and Tombraider are the first ones I really became a 'dedicated buyer'
for. I bought the two in the same month and they are the first games I felt
compelled to upgrade to a new video card for. Oh there were others like
Descent and Wing Commander I thought I'd collect all of them to. But nope.
They changed more than I liked. Quake, Doom, Tombraider, Unreal, Half-Life
(discounting CS, hate that one) and now IL2 are the main ones I'll follow.
And I well imagine that the majority of people that populate this and all
the game ng's have similar stories they could tell.
Hey, we're gamers, yaknow? :)
McG.
