Hello Rick !
I still have quite a few. Let me look around and see what I can come up
with. I may even have the MV035D model somewhere, but no promises. I used to
"toy" with these motherboards many ( wow, I had to stop and think, 10 years
ago ! ) years ago, and am very familiar with them.
I'll find out this weekend.
Hi Bob
If you dig up a BEK instead I'd be really, REALLY happy! 8-) I have
CPU's and memory. But I could always use more RAM. I have BEK 486VLB
motherboards that are still chugging along. The MV035D first started
showing DMA channel problems. Then it would lock up. Then it died. The
end. 8-) Pretty sure the clock/timing circuit snuffed out.
Got anything to trade ? I will attach a very very very small "stuff I'm
looking for" list below. List is kind of old, and some things have been
*found*.
I have a PB item not on your list:
A long time back - at least 8 years ago - I picked up a Packard Bell
"multimedia remote" - new. I was told it would only work on Packard Bell
systems. Guess what - "they" were right. I can't recall off hand how
much of what it was supposed to control. I know it handled audio CD
functions, volume control etc. It may have handled mouse functions as
well.
Do you know what I'm referring to? It's an IR remote and an IR sensor
that plugs into the serial port. Whatever PB systems it is designed to
work with supposedly have the software support for it already on the
hard drive. It came with a small manual and *no* software. I think it
was a Win 3.1 era item.
It's gonna take me a while to dig this out. I have no idea where I
stuffed it right now. It's here, somewhere... Let me know if you want it
*before* I start ripping into the walk in closet. Or maybe the garage.
Or the attic... 8-)

And I'm surprised how hard they are to find!
A couple years back I was able to locate several places where I could
still find used486 VLB motherboards but today I came up completely dry
on a web search. Short of dealing with ePay, anyone know of any sources?
Looking for a non-proprietary 486 motherboard with 8 slots (3 with VLB
extensions.) Would prefer one with dual 30 pin and 72 pin RAM sockets.
That's it! Oh, and that has documentation still available for the 136
jumpers that will probably be on it. 8-)
Just need to replace an MV035D motherboard that went completely dead.
It's definitely gone - so I'm not looking for support or troubleshooting
info.
