Heck, you don't have to do this. Just dump the ROM with DEBUG. Type d c800:0
and keep going all the way up to c800:8000. See if you can find the text
messages that would be displayed by the formatter program. Try to find where
the code for the formatter program begans. But note that a lot of the code
in there is the controller code, so this may take some effort.

It's also possible to dump the rom to disk with DEBUG, but it's a little bit
tricky.
