Thanks: but those SCS spool files are just 199 pages of plain SCS data far
away from being near 16 MB.. I Assume that tou meant 16 Megabytes not 16
megabits.

On the other hand I know that there is a limit for user space ... Do you kow
if the 16 MB limit is for the resulting IFS intermediate TIF file created
during the process of converting to PDF, if so, that may be the cause.

We are getting the following message: API QwpzHostPrintTransform failed
hptopt = 30
while using the utility CVTSPLFPDF from freeware MMAIL utility.

While generating the intermediate TIFF file from a spool file the
process sends the above message..

It seems to depend of the size of the spool file: short splfs work
right, but larger (130 pages) just generate an incomplete TIFF file then
the PDF is not generated.

We are running V5R3M0 and latest print group PTFs.

Any Idea?

as I read the documentaion correctly, "Spool files must not be greater
than 16 Mb", that may cause the error.
