I would like to install product 5733SC1 (V5R4M0) using virtual optical unit.
I've created BIN file from proper CD (using WinISO software) then FTP it to folder in IFS. Then I did all I usualy do when I install PTF using this method.
Unfortunatelly my virual CD can't be read by OS400. I think there is something wrong with my BIN file. Does anybody has any 'special' method to create sucha a image file?

IZArc (working alternative to 7-zip, which has problems wit .rar) can read many formats, including bin and iso. Maybe you can use that to verify your BIN file. Can you do a VFYIMGCLG at all?
