EPL2 data stream is your primary challange, the next issue is how to
send it to the printer, this varies depending on how the printer is
connected to you iSeries, if you are using Client Access, then good
luck!
If you are using the Zebra Print Server then simple remote Output queue
should do, plenty of documentation on this out on the net. If you are
using some of the cheap and cheerful 3rd party print servers like Dlink
DPxxx then believe it or not your best bet is to FTP the EPL file to
the print server, nominating the LPD Port (internal queue name) as the
target file of the FTP.
If it were me, I would start by focusing on generating the EPL
generation as mentioned in previous posts, send it from a PC app to
test it's ok, then once you are happy start to play with the transfer
mechanisms decribed above.
