Hi, Brad,
Thank you very much for your reply. You are right, there are some problems
of the DHCP.
I cannot change the IP address manually, when I click on the 'Customize
Network Settings', there is nothing come out. Thus, I cannot do anything,
but scratch install the HMC.
After the scratch HMC with the recovery CDs, I carefully went through the
wizard, and finally get the DHCP working. Finally can see the i520 server.
Anyway, thanks again for your help.

More likely is that you've either got the DHCP configured on the wrong
port or the i5 has past it's DHCP client windows and defaulted to it's
fall back IP.
You might want to dig out a backup of you old HMC settings, this may or
may not be of use depending on model and version you had before,
(Not sure about your skill level, so please ignore the following if you
understand how the HMC works and what it controls)
More importantly is that you need to be very careful, if you setup you
HMC from scratch again, you need to make sure you fully understand
exactly how your i5 is setup and if it has Multiple LPARs, what
resources are allocated to each.
If you are in doubt seek advice, as you can really cause problems for
yourself in the HMC.
Good Luck, Brad
.
