This position is responsible for the gathering of user requirements, design,
development, testing, documentation, user training, implementation, and
maintenance of Information Systems, key metric reports, and data
repositories needed to support the Company's business objectives. Ensures
data consistency, integrity, and recoverability of operational system
databases. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals. Provides technical and business leadership to the
organization.

The ideal candidate has a Master's Degree, or 8 to 15 years related
experience, and a minimum of five years of systems analysis experience and
strong analytical skills in a business-oriented, technology-driven
environment. This individual must have the ability to solve complex business
and technical issues involved in various corporate information systems. S/he
must also be able to effectively communicate with a diverse group of people
with differing technical capabilities, various levels of comprehension and
responsibilities. The ideal candidate must be readily available to answer
questions and resolve issues at all hours during peak times

Required Skills:
*Proficient in Microsoft technologies, including MS Access, MS Office Suite.
*Microsoft SQL Server experience.
*Solid Experience with Cognos
*Minimum two years experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).
*Familiar with various types of interaction with Microsoft products and
database systems MSQuery, ODBC, etc.
*The ability to use and learn new systems quickly must be demonstrated.
*In depth understanding of client/server systems.
*Experience and understanding of application servers.
*Experience and understanding of database servers.
*Experience and understanding of data warehousing and data mining concepts
and technologies.
*Applicants must have experience using query tools and similar technologies,
including various SQL driven technologies.
*Applicants must have experience with relational database modeling and
concepts.
*Report writing experience using SQL based tools. Crystal Reports preferred.
*Experience extracting and transforming data.

Desired Skills:
*Decision Stream experience preferred.
*An understanding of the AS/400 platform is helpful, but not required.
*ERP experience preferred, SSA*s BPCS a plus.
*Multi-dimensional database experience (Hyperion, etc.) and experience
working in a wholesale or retail environment is desired.
*Applicants should have experience with Point-of-Sale or similar systems.
*Experience with VB.NET experience preferred.

They offer a competitive salary (70-75k) benefits package, and bonus
potential. A background check is required. Toledo is a low cost area, with
three inexpensive colleges.
