Re: restoring IFS folder with original authorities

Have you considered the ALWOBJDIF(*ALL) option?

I have an IFS folder that I have on a backup tape.
I am trying to restore it to another AS400 system, but when I do, the
authorities are wrong. Only *public and qsys have authority to the
restored
files.
How can I restore the folder so that the authorities are the same as
when
backed up?

Note: I have BRMS on both the source and target systems, and the
original
backup was done via BRMS, but the two BRMS systems are completely
independent, so this may not matter.
Would my problem be any easier if I was restoring to the same AS400 as
the
folders were backed up from, and to a different folder than they were
backed
up from?
Note: I do not want to overwrite the current folders and files.

Thanks,
Jim
