Re: iSeries programs to update MS SQL Tables

I believe RJS Software will sell you a application that allows you to do
"native" IO to SQL Server tables from RPG.

Hi,

I need the ability to write RPGLE apps and use iSeries SQL to read and
update tables on a Microsoft SQL server. (Possibly MySQL in the future.)
I have a fair amount of experience with OS400 and RPGLE. I guess I am
looking for something similar to and ODBC driver for the iSeries(Don't
know
if there is such a thing). I can write the app in VB using windows ODBC to
work with the iSeries, but I am the only developer here that is familiar
with VB. I would like to keep the code native to the iSeries if possible.

Any suggestions on approach would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jody
