I'm a bit puzzled by your stement 'When I tell it to log on without
using an ID and password its fine'. I assume it's using the System
account then when starting up. But: does it work then? If yes, why would
you want to run it under a specific user? And what user is that, a
Windows user or an AS/400 user? If Windows (AS/400 won't work, for
sure), is it an administrator or superuser? I _think_ ' dumb' users are
not allowed to run services, maybe not even superusers.
