Why not just print to PDF those articles you would like to keep as
reference, and let the internet archive the rest? This group goes back
years and years if searched with Google.

The entire thread is saved, 10 messages at a time are displayed, and
it's enough to click on the left tree structure to display the other
blocks of messages.....
