Hello:
When i tried to exchange mine i called the US and they couldn't help,
sent an email and they said call europe. I found the supposed center
that handled the portuguese complaints and was told to send the calc to
brazil and they would "see if it was really a warranty issue".
I was sure the the number that appear on my local hp site would be of no
help, but tried it as last resort and guess what? As soon as i said "a
prob whit a 49g+" i was asked for a serial number, for a proof of
purchase and address so they could send a new one. So try your local hp
assistance from the hp web site but since it's out of warranty say you
hardly used it etc. Good luck.
Best Regards
Steve Sousa

Hi there,
i purchased my HP49G+ (CNA 4340XXXX) in May 2005 but didn't use it
much.
Now I'm studying and for the last three weeks I used it intensely.
Result: Keys "2" and "Enter" won't work properly anymore.
Now, is there a possibility to get a replacement from HP altough the
warranty ran out? Would be very pleased to hear from anyone as I'm
really, really desperate and cannot afford to buy a new one.
I've always been a HP-user and was never let down, but this piece of
crap keyboard makes me really mad.
Thank you very much for your answers in advance!
greetings from switzerland
