Hidden Directory???

i forgot/neglected to change the batteries in my memory cards for a
LOOOOOOOONG time, thinking that they would draw on the Calc's power...
Which they did??? until the other day, when they didn't anymore, and i
lost several irreplacible, UNbackedup Directories...!!! ( !!! ) [!!!]
One of the programs let me look at individual UserKeys, which required
me to look up the UserKey List in the Hidden Directory...! But when i
searched this group for the SYSEVAL for it, i found this DOUBLE
Syseval combo which didn't work...??? # 64037h #6FD1h Which didn't
kill anything, but it didn't take me to the HD either... PLUS the
comments associated with this suggested that the old FAQ method,
#15777h caused problems, ( i never noticed any...??? ) But failed to
say what they were...
The Question: What problems does this old method cause, and why didn't
the double combo work on my 48gx...???
