THANKS for responding!

First of all it would be easier if you tell what PDA

It says "Jornada 560 series" Prod #F2921A ABA s/n SG14445792

or furthermore which
operating system you use.

Microsoft pocket PC version 3.0.11171(build 11178) Processor ARM SA1110
63.322 MB

This has of course directly nothing to do with your question, but with
more information we maybe able to suggest alternative software.

I personally tried Emu48CE v1.23 two or three years ago on my Jornada
565 and I find it unuseable (very slow, serveral crashes, ...).

I have had similar problems. Just getting it to RUN was a major problem.
Figuring out I had to bring up the device keyboard and hit a carrage return
at the right place during start up was a major hurdle.

I finally got a bitmapped KML script to work fairly well but not being able
to install the 'ram card' image has had me stumped.

I made a
new version of Emu48 for ARM based PDA's for Pocket PC 2002 and later,
based on the latest version of Emu48 for IA32.

So if you have an ARM based PDA with Pocket PC 2002 or later you may use
Emu48PPC from http://privat.swol.de/ChristophGiesselink/.

I will try it.

Not sure if '3.0.11171' is '2002 or later' or if it is earlier.

Please note the Install.txt file in the Emu48PPC archieve about
installing and the different format of KML files.

I looked a bit at the code for EMU48ce 1.23 and dreaded the prospect of
trying to 'fix' it to allow me to get it to 'CLOSE'. For one thing, I still
have no idea why that command was left out.

I will download your version and see what happens when I install it and run
it.

This should be fun. :)

Thanks again for responding.

I greatly admire the work you(and others) have done and published over the
years.

Cheers

Christoph

I can't find a way to attach a 'ROM card' to the EMU48 1.23 I have
installed on my HP jornada.

On the PC version, you just go to the 'file' menu and 'close' the
current session, then type in the name of the file that emulates the
ROM card.

The EMU48ce does NOT have a 'close' option on the file menu.

Is there a work around for this?
