I've been getting lost in my directories for years because of it ;-)
Apparently any user key assignment to the same key
(even if not for a HOLD)
disables built-in HOLD assignments for that key
(while in USER mode, of course).
You can also do PUSH (later POP),
make commands to go to favorite directories,
navigate thru the Filer,
or leave a trail of bread crumbs scattered along your return path :)
