Re: 49g+ for US$280,00 and have to put in the trash???

They sort of still do that ... when I recently called to complain of
the problems with my calc, they offered to sell me a replacement unit
for $99, if I returned my defective one. I asked them why I should
have to buy twice to get one good one, especially given the news that
the current units still suffer the same problems, and was told that
there have been several changes made to the keyboard, since I
purchased my original and it's replacement (they did replace it once,
already).

So, I don't sense any benevolent customer interest on their part, but
it does seem they aren't ashamed to stick it to you again if you are
sucker enough to buy the current (who knows what that means)
'improved' model from them again.
