OT:Request for a favor 2

If you have the time, I would appreciate you watching the test audio slide
show I've put together in the new "playerless" QCShow web-format. It is
designed to work with the three primary browsers, IE, FF, and Safari (it works
to a degree with Google Chrome, although it has an obvious pecadillo, which
you'll see if you run it there; it doesn't work at all with Opera due to bugs in
Opera's code, which have been reported).

Based on your and others' previous comments, I've spent a fair amount of time
rewriting the code.

This new audio slide show pushes the boundaries of what you can do using
HTML, CSS, DOM, and Javascript, and presents 69 high-resolution, large
images in 2.5 minutes, perfectly synchronized to a music score.

One of the design criteria I want to maintain is that there should be no
preloading or buffering required before the presentation begins (presuming that
you have broadband). This presentation really pushes that requirement, and I
may have to put a preload subroutine in the code yet, but it's not a problem
for a standard PowerPoint lecture, where things move more slowly.

The new presentation is at:

http://67.41.4.238/newtest/iya/iya.html

I would greatly appreciate hearing of any difficulties that you might have.

BTW, this presentation makes heavy use of image blends. Of the browsers, IE
is the slowest and does the least good job at this task. Safari is the fastest
and does a magnificient job when run on an Intel processor (either PC or Mac).
If you have the time, download Safari+Quicktime and watch the presentation
using that browser. Firefox lies in the performance middle.
