Re: System specifications/Weight??

And from bitter experience of using these figures for a 959ks/100-400, add another 50kg for a shipping pallet! Doesnt look it...

Jeff of the Kubler klan asks:

Any one know where to find the physical specifications for
systems? Specifically, what's the weight of a 947?? 928??

This information was published in the sales guides known as
"HP3000 900 Series Computer Systems Configuration Guide" and
also can be found in datasheets.

From the February 1998 guide I can offer you these weights
in kg (yes - kilograms...)

918lx, 918rx, 928lx, 928rx, 968lx, 968rx, 978lx, 978rx, 988lx, 988rx
all 32kg and I believe this a non-racked configuration.

939ks/020, 969ks/100-400, 969ks/120-420
deskside range: 52.21kg - 63.56kg
racked range: 61.30kg - 72.64kg

979ks/100-400
deskside range: 60kg - 75kg
racked range: 69kg - 84kg

996 models 80, 100-800
997 models 100-500
all 375kg

hope that helps somewhat...
