OT: Virtual PC's was Visual Studio 2005

Ok, Ok, time to install ubantu, at least to see what everyone is talking about,
But, I stll need to use my XP.
So my question is, has anyone tried to install Ubantu in a "virtual PC" on XP Pro?
Which virtual machine would you recommend? (Yes, I know Gavin will recommend Vmware). :-)
