Re: replacement of dds-3 tape drive

You want to look for DEVCTRL.MPEXL.TELESUP.

The settings are COMPRESS, EJECT and LOAD. EJECT is the one you want to
play with.

Subject: [HP3000-L] replacement of dds-3 tape drive

our backups are such that they both write the tape and then do a vstore to
verify that the tape is readable. in this mode when the backup finished
the close of the tape file does not do an eject so that the tape can be
placed on-line and verified. last week we replaced a dds-3 drive. since
this time the close of the backup ejects the tape and the backup stream
can not place the tape back on-line. where is the configuration setting
so that the close of the backup does not eject the tape?
