It sure does bring back memories.
I had one of the original Compaq 'lugables'. As I recall, the serial
number was in the low 1900's (why do I remember that???)
It would fit under the seat of a 727, but not a DC-9 (or the other way
around). I know this because I was flying back and forth between
Eugene, Oregon and SFO, and one airline flew a DC-9 and the other a 727.
Had to arrange my flights for the correct plane. I really wish I still
had that machine, just because it was cool.
