The only bad thing about dell, and most other pc companies, is their way
offshore support lines.
Hp is now using the amd chip to compete with dell; intel may wake up and
realize they have a real competitor to their chip
Line and need to drop their prices to compete.
I'm looking at laptops but so far I won't look at hp haven't heard
anything good about them yet other than price and price
isn't everything.
Just my personal .02

Subject: [HP3000-L] OT: (...somewhat) laptop brand (non)recommendation
Hello -L:
Same client, continuation of previous laptop related issue. Client is
leaning towards a Dell Inspirion laptop because it's cheap and with my
recent experience with Dell equipment and reviews of several hundred
other people's experiences, I'm not recommending Dell.
Would anyone else "non-recommend" Dell laptops?
Congratulations HP, you're actually back in the running.
