OT: Regarding POT subject matter

I generally have the OT got to a separate folder based on the "OT" and
coming from HP3000 List.
I would tell you that I delete these just on principal because the majority
are politics, however there are a few OT that pertain to things related to
computers and related to our industry but not normally HP3000.
At one time I request that they use POT (Politically Off Topic) for the
first part of the header and that worked for all of 2 weeks but it never
really stuck.
So as much as I would tell you to delete them - sometimes there is a good
tidbit of information that you would miss by deleting OT subjects.
I also find there is a chuckle or two in the humor posts.
