You are not blind. HP's web site is woefully deficient. But the web site does
give the specs for the board and you can go elsewhere for the drivers, either XP
or Vista. Fairly pathetic tech support from HP.
Intel 965 motherboard chipset - Download the chipset drivers for ANY Intel-brand
D965-series motherboard from the Intel web site.
Intel 82562V 10/100 Ethernet - Again, Intel website. Look under networks and
network cards. Intel's Pro/100 drivers should do the job. Make sure you
download and install the diagnostics, too.
Realtek ALC 885 CODEC for audio - You guessed it. The Realtek web site.
I can't help with the video card. Pull the card from the system and see whether
it has markings indicating an nVidia or an ATI graphics chip.
After installing Windows, install the motherboard chipset drivers absolutely
FIRST to avoid driver installation problems... Ben Myers

Im guessing this has been asked before, couldn't find anything in search
on this though. I need to update the drivers on the Asus
P5BW-LA(Basswood3G). I have already checked Asus for a driver and
nothing on the list matches the text P5BW-LA. I looked on the HP website
for drivers and still cant find anything. Am I just blind? Can anyone
give me a direct link to what I need, or atleast point me in the right
direction?
thanks in advance.
