I have a customer with and old HP B132L workstation that he was
using a Viewsonic VG910S series monitor. This monitor failed and he
put a Viewsonic VP920B model on with no luck. The system would not
display anything with that unit connected. Talked to HP and they do
not have anything for me. Is there some current monitors that could
be purchased that will work with these older workstations?

I am surprised that the Viewsonic VP920B did not work. I would
think that most any modern 19" multisync monitor would be OK. It
needs to support the frequencies emitted by the B132L. Get the
specs for the VG910S, and make sure any replacement monitor meets or
exceeds the horizontal and vertical frequency ranges of the
VG910S... Ben Myers

Perhaps there is some "Tab" key pressing required at startup? IIRC
that was how one got the workstation to cycle through the frequencies.
Might even still be a B132L manual online under docs.hp.com, but I've
not looked for one in a while.
