HP NC4000 Laptop issues

Hello
I am not usually one to post to newsgroups, but there is always a first
for everything. After scouring HP's many websites for information I
have turned to the experts!
It seems when a mfg website cannot give me the info I need, I can
always find someone with the same or similar issue in the newsgroups.
Anyway, Here is the problem. I have an HP laptop NC4000 I just swapped
out the motherboard via the warranty parts program. Upon booting this
supposedly new/refurb/verified MB all I get is a series of blinking
lights from the battery led. 9 in total, the first 8 are the same
duration and the ninth blink is longer.
Does anyone know how to interprut HP led codes? Or possibly know where
one might go to find the answer? I have searched high and low to no
avail.
Please I hope someone can help on this...
Thanks
Chad
