I have tried to boot with each of the recovery disks originally provided. When I push the 'on' button, (with ac and battery), the drive light comes on for less than 2 seconds, then goes out. The computer just doesn't do anything after that. HP site says to send it in. I would like to try anything before that!$ Thanks, Boni
