all-in-one scanner failure
every time we turn on the HP Photosmart all-in-one 2610 it ends up
saying scanner failure - turn power off and on.
I have noticed that it seems that the scanner can't make a right to
left pass. after you turn it on the scanner bar ( for want of a better
term) trys to leave it's "bay" and make a pass under the glass. you
can see the light go on and it almost rocks back and forth but it never
makes it under the glass.
has anyone else had this problem. we contacted hp. they said to have
a semi-hard reset but this didn't help.
