If a BIOS update is not available on the HP web site, it's not available.
Officially. The motherboard in the 7934 was made for HP by FIC, so there is a
possibility that the generic FIC BIOS update for a very similar model of board
will work. However, this approach is EXTREMELY risky, and I cannot recommend it
unless you are prepared to replace the board should it become useless through a
bad flash update operation.
Original BIOS is useless, because? Can't overclock? Can't tweak memory
settings? Won't recognize a larger hard drive? What you get with a name-brand
computer is a BIOS that is as foolproof as possible, to minimize the chance of
people screwing up their systems by choosing settings that do not work. HP,
IBM/Lenovo, Gateway, Dell, Intel (motherboard manufacturer) all follow this
