Thanks Charles, but that only answered half of my question, so:
Where is the 8522 located?
Which chip do the clips attach to? And where is that chip's location?
And, the chip pins count 'around' from one to 48 (is it 48?) clockwise
from the bottom left of the notched part of the chip. Is this correct,
ie:
1-|____/\____|-48
|
|__________Notch
Many thanks,
Shaun.
MagerValp gave me some info:
On the C128D-Cr boards, the 8522 (listed as the 8722 here:
http://www.ktverkko.fi/~msmakela/8bit/memory/memory-c128.pdf) chip to
extract for the MMU adapter is located at U7, and the processor is U6.
And the pins count around opposite to what I thought, as in:
____ ____
1-| \/ |-48
2-| |-47
etc...
Clip nubers are as follows:
According to an earlier post on this forum, the clip numbers are as
follows:
Red clip = 39
Yellow clip = 30
Blue clip = 29
Green clip = 28
Black clip = 24

Shaun.
