If you're looking for the Centronics end that plugs into the printer, that
is 36 pins.
Brian
Then why are they different on the interface than they are on the
printer? That defeats the purpose does it not (or am I to expect that
there's an adapter of some sort that is also required)? <CONFUSED>
The cable is the adapter.
Centronics printer connector one end, Centronics parallel port connector on
the other.
If I remember correctly, the XeTec Super Graphix Jr., and its big brother,
the Super Graphix Gold are both boxes with two cables exiting the box. One
cable plugs into the Commodore serial port, the other into the Centronics
port on a PC type dot matrix printer. On the face of the box are 8 dip
switches, and a reset button. Also a decal that serves as a quick reference
for dip switch settings.
Unless my memory is corrupted, it was one of the more popular high end
interfaces for using a PC style printer with a Commodore 8-bit computer.
