bought and paid for :-) Considering it is coming from Miami, I will
get it before the weekend. Yippie!! I may wait a week to get the
composite to VGA adapter, I am spending like a sailor in a whore house

When you do get it, can you try a quick test for me?
I'm wondering if this adapter can handle red text on a blue background (or
vice versa).
A while ago I bought a Kworld adapter that does both NTSC to VGA and RGB to
VGA but unfortunately it suffers from the 4:2:2 sampling problem. This means
that there are twice as many luminance samples as there are chrominance so
light red text on a red background looks OK, but red text on a blue background
just turns into giant unreadable purple blobs.
I think the only device that might actually do true 4:4:4 sampling is this
one:

but for that price I'm waiting for someone else to try it first. :)
