What do you mean? Shapes and colors? Are you talking about PETSCII
graphics, or something else entirely?

Yes, petscii ie. the characters visible on front of keys. From my
memory, (hugely faulty :>), all 16 colours can be shared between c64's,
but only 8 colours between the vic 20's & vic-c64.

This connection I don't think allowed control of each other's drives, just
what was displayed onscreen. The vic 20 programme required an additional
ram cart.

So the coloured text or C= key character typed on one screen would appear
on both computers' screens, & could be saved on either drive.
