Re: XA1541 Wanted
Joe,
I just read your essay on PayPal and I have to say that if I had waited
from March 7 to April 13 and had not received an item I had paid
express shipping on, I too would have been very concerned and contacted
my credit card company. I too have been burnt by long shipping times
and impatient customers (quite publicly, in this newsgroup in fact) and
from that experience developed a policy that international orders would
only be shipped via a method that provides internet tracking of the
package. As a customer, I would happily pay a few dollars extra to
UPS, DHL or FedEx to get a tracking number and know my order isn't
going to take weeks or months to get here with the seller being able to
say "It's not my fault."
Maybe you should change your PayPal policy such that you only accept
PayPal if the customer pays for UPS Ground or DHL with an international
tracking number.
