Re: Interest in other 8 bit computers?

I was the first kid in the neigborhood to get a computer in '82, a
TI-99/4a. Every other kid got a C64 in '83-'84. If was frustrating to
see my friends with hundreds of disk of software, especially after TI
dropped support for the 99/4a! :) However I have no regrets. Because I

had little software, I proceeded to type in lots of programs from
magazines like Compute! This got me interested in Basic and Assembly,
so I really learned a lot. In '85 my brother ended up giving me his
C64 after he got his C128, so it all worked out!
