So from what I gather, most people in this newsgroup, or at least those
who have spoken up, would rather not have posts made to it which are
fairly on topic, and instead read endless posts about some nitwit who
forgot to make a backup disk of some programming project circa 1985, and
who is now searching for a cheap way to recover all his lost data, and
failing that, hopes to dream about it and have the code transmitted by
aliens to his tin foil hat.
