One little question, why does High Density 1.2 MB disks not format on a Commodore when doing a format ? (maybe soon, I would be best to have a modified Commodore controller that will support the 1.2 MB disks and modified DOS





Because it takes more than 2 times more current to change the polarity of the magnetic material on HD media. This is only on 5.25, as 3.5 drives/disks don't have this problem.
