I made a typo in the first line below.
Instead of saying:

I should have said:

You should set them to either Ports 1 and 2 or Ports 3 and 4. If you do
this, you should have smooth operations and no problems.
Just thought I would clear that up in-case someone got confused. Most
likely, you all caught the typo and knew what I meant :-)
