Greetings all:
I have been in the process of coding a BBS program for the c64, and i
have gotten pretty far. But there is always that aching in the back of
my head saying "Why dont you write one on the c128"
Now, i am clueless when it comes to programming the 128. I do have the
128 programmers reference manual, but that is the most confusing book i
have ever read.... anywayz, here are my questions. Where is the free
memory ($c000, $8000 on the 64) on the 128, and in which bank is it in?
I want to setup the memory map of the 128 to be exactly like the 64,
but with 64 more k to program with. I want to retain the stock kernal,
and I/O. I also want to write this program using the 80 column mode,
and after readingin the reference manual there is a trick to writing to
the 80 column graphics interface... If anyone is pretty good with the
128, and understands "banking" and knows what i am asking, with a
little detail, and could answer these questions i would be forever in
debt. thanks again. If anyone has any questions email me at
