Hi Sniperstorm. Glad to see you back online.

Piece of advice? Get an account with dyndns.org. Its free, and makes all
the difference.

Thats what I did when my ISP, for some strange reason, started changing my
IP address 1-2 times daily, and I mean everyday.

When you setup your account, you can pick a name. I went with:

darkforce-bbs.dyndns.org

You can download clients for Windows or Linux (I'm using the Linux version)

After you D/L it, install it, then, everytime you boot up your main
computer (Linux or Windows), it will check your IP address, every 5 mins,
and update that info to dyndns.org who will "filter" it down the line, so
that your users will always be able to logon to your BBS, no matter how
many times your IP address might change.

PS I just leave my main Linux box running all the time - its an NFS server
for the rest of the comps on my LAN, so it just makes it easier anyways.
