Try installing the printer as a local port using the standard tcp/ip
port for printing and not the network printer install. Using IP
printing may solve your problem. You can also try upgrading to a more
current and might I add better OS like XP.

If you have Atari800Win.exe version 4.0 installed. Under the Atari menu
header select [Setting] or press Alt+E and in the dialogue box that opens
select enable P: patch [] and below that select use alternate print
command[] and in the box below that type the path to your favorite text
editor.
C:\Program Files\UltraEdit\UEDIT32 %s '<-- this little bit is required
%s'
The text editor can then print to your Windows installed LAN printer. You
can even add to or delete parts of Atari file, reformat margins, etc...
Before sending to the printer with the application chosen.
and if you can get the Windows Font called ATARI.FON from the Dis6502
application package install this to C:\windows\font\ directory then your
better hex/texteditor can use it to see Highlighted text.. Font size set to
12 normal.
