I think there are only two physical ROM chips in an XL/XE.

One is the OS and the other is the BASIC interpretor. What I don't know is
if the ROM test is just the OS ROM or both the OS and the BASIC ROM.

The ROM test indicates a red bar on the ROM on the right ROM in self test.
Does this indicate a specific ROM or is it just a blanket "you have a bad
ROM somewhere"?
