Hello Charlie.
do you know of any schematic or board files for eagle that describe
apple 2 peripheral cards?
I'm particularly interested in parts such as the card connector - I'm
an eagle newbie and creating the part is a bit beyond me as yet. I've
looked for PC cards that could be modified but there's been no luck
there either!
Eagle is a nice program. For a beginner though you may want to check out
Easy-PC CAD. Email/Skype me directly if you'd like to check it out. For
that program I have a bunch of items for your library. Also in Skype we can
share Desktops. I can then give you some one-on-one tutoring and show you
how the things work.
Sorry to say I'm not as proficient in Eagle CAD. I found it to be a bit
tough in the learning curve. Also I found that everything I wanted to do
needed a script. Most everything in Easy-PC is just a click. Don't get me
wrong, it's not the greatest program out there. But it is one of the
simplest. It also has a nice feature that you can draw a PCB design and
then produce a Schematic. Most programs require you to first have a
schematic and don't allow you to freehand a design.
