It should be able to connect with any computer. It emulates a hayes

I've updated the InternetModem program to handle the Telnet protocol
handshake transparently to the terminal (your Apple II). Before, you
couldn't connect to sites like Syndicomm because ProTERM couldn't
handshake.
Now, InternetModem handles that and you can connect to any telnet site,
whether it handshakes or not.

http://boycot.no-ip.com/software I took a picture of my Apple II screen
running ProTERM 3.1 chatting on Syndicomm.

It doesn't appear that this software is designed for connecting with
the apple ][ only. Can it be used with other computers?

Thats what I figured, thanks. I wonder what the possibility is of
having a charactor translator built into it? Say for instance I wanted
to use this software to let me use an Timex Sinclair 1000 to access
telenet services, can the software be modified to translate incoming
(from the net) ascii characters to the non-standard character set on
the TS1000 and vice versa?
