Good job. I was wondering what was going on with this project...
About Spam.
Anonymous posting on a wiki, blog, or anything leads to SPAM. My own
site gets a lot of it.
You may consider seeing if the Wiki software has a SPAM module. My site
runs via Drupal, and it has a Bayesian-filter module that scans all
comments posted for "spammy" words. It is dumb at first, but gets
smarter real fast.
I also regularly go through the logs and add IP addresses to the
..htaccess file in the "DENY ALL" section. I must have 400 IP addresses
added to that file over the past year. It makes a difference.
