Hey Ralph.
What ROM version is the IIgs? I have some batteries for sale. I just
haven't had time to put then in the on-line Store yet. If you need one just
let me know.

Okay, pulled out my GS to set it up for the file transfers. Slot 7 is
set for AppleTalk, and the CFFA drive is in slot 2. I don't have the
Mac hooked up yet, and I tried to boot up the GS, but it won't boot off
the hard drive. Do I need to have the Mac hooked up and running first,
or should I try to use disks to get the GS running?
Okay, just found out why it won't boot off the drive in slot 2. When I
shut it off, the control panel settings I had put in won't stick. Slot
2 goes back to modem, and slot 7 goes back you Your Card. Does anyone
else thing replacing the battery might help?
On the bright side, I did manage to get a peek at what's on the CDs via
my Mac LC 575. I practically drooled when I saw there were over 14,000
files available. First disk has all the GS stuff, second 8-bit.
