I've heard the best way is to totally disassemble the case (for a //e,
this is very simple - just unscrew the 11 or 12 screws on the bottom of
the case, and then lift up. you may need to unscrew the keyboard from
the upper plastic case too.) and then really go at it.
I've heard of people putting it in the dishwasher. I've heard of people
using Tylex mildew stain remover (which has bleach), spraying it all
over the case, and then leaving it in the sun. I've heard of people
leaving it in a well-chloronated swimming pool for a week. I've heard
of people using that Clorox cleaning gell (which has bleach) and a
toothbrush.
I myself wouldn't mind doing this, but I have no desire to take apart
my monitor, disk drives, and keyboard in order to get a matching color
for everything...
