Seriously, you'd need an isolation cap anyway, it would filter the noise with an added resistor. (RC bandpass circuit.) Added bonus, no LONG wire along the outside of the IIc. :)
(Looking for schematics to see if the IIc speaker is directly connected to video port line on the same circuit, dang he doesn't have any!)

So could this sound card circuit be made very small? Say small enough to retro fit inside the IIc case? (wrapped in foil, then insulator) There is lots of room inside the Power Supply section of a IIc or adjacent to the floppy disk in a IIc+. :)
